This is an ancient plugin - from 09-2007 - and it lacks the "modern" install.rdf file that Firefox 2.0 and later versions require.

Ok thanks for quick reply :-)
Erroneous information.

It really bothers me when incomplete, or just plain wrong information is given out. Especially if they're done along with promoting another product.
Old-Style GUI doesn't mean ancient.
Ugly usually gets the job done better than "bells and whistles".
Because of the intent behind the bad data I'm re-thinking having superadblocker installed.
Outre,
What do you think is erroneous in the information provided? I don't know what you are referring to by posting links to the Anti-Spyware program. The program itself works, but one little feature for detecting and removing tracking cookies doesn't work with Firefox 3+ versions.
find out what's running on my computer is what the OP was asking about.
Firefox could not install the file at

because: Install script not found

When searching the Anti-Spyware FAQ's for a Firefox plugin this page turns up.
http://superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=93
Which says - " The "Find out what’s running on your computer!" plugin isn’t compatible with Firefox 3. You can use this direct link in Firefox 2... "

The Firefox plugin that is available from that page is what's ancient, it lacks the "modern" install.rdf file that Firefox 3+ versions need for installing XPI files.
It really bothers me when a user digs up a Solved thread that was satisfactorily answered for the user who started the the thread and mis-reads that support thread & offers his off-topic opinion. And then mentions something about "promoting another product" when that wasn't done.
Spoke to the guys at superantispyware on their forum and they say it is FIREFOX'S problem and for them to sort out.
so either way i wont hold my breath.
