Firefox automatically only opens in Safe Mode and crashes frequently

Firefox has been freezing and crashing a lot recently. Then, yesterday, it would only open in Safe Mode, which it does automatically. I have run diagnostics on my computer, and it is apparently fine. The other programs (e.g., Office) are working normally. I have scanned the computer for viruses or malware, but all appears fine. I need some help getting my Firefox browser back to normal.
