After downloading FF5, browser now opens with blank page, not my regular home page. I can get to home page by clicking on home page icon, so the browser hasn't lost it. Tools>options>General>startup looks fine. I reinstalled FF4, and everything works fine. I downloaded and installed a new copy of FF5 and same problem. Also: in Tools menu, when I click on "add ons". nothing comes up (can't access Add-on Manager) Very annoying. Any ideas?

Thanks for trying, but as I said, everything looks fine....i.e. "show my homepage" is right there in the dropdown like it should be. I even tried changing it to another alternative and then back again. same problem. My guess is that some program I am running is conflicting with FF5, but who knows which one.

All of a sudden, for no apparent reason, everything seems to be working right. Home page opens, and I can access "Add on Manager" .

All I did was run a virus scan (detected no infections). Perhaps the planets just realigned. Thanks for your help
