How do I move Mozilla add-ons to a non-internet kiosk computer?
I have designed and installed kiosks in a museum that use Mozilla as their front end. I had a slight issue with the current add-on they are using and need to change it. Unfortunately, the museum is on a Navy base and not connected to a public internet.
Can I download transportable versions of add-ons for installation into the museum computer which may never be "wired in" to the web? Thx

Right-click the add-on installation button (where it says Add to Firefox) and use Save Link As... to save it to local disk on a different PC that does have internet access. Then move the XPI to removable storage - USB Flash device - plug that device into the kiosk and use File > Open File... in Firefox to install that add-on. Or you can drag the XPI into the browser window to effect the installation.

edmeister....Thanks so much for the quick, concise response. You saved my butt.
Note to others: Mozilla has been working great in the museum kiosk using the "R-Kiosk" add-on, which unfortunately only works up to v3.6xx. But recently its been crashing, so I'm going to give "Real-Fullscreen" a shot to see if that clears things up. The Navy loves the kiosk, but if it keeps crashing, I may have an aircraft carrier pull up to my door.
Thanks again...
You're welcome.
