Just trying to figure out how to change my profile so that when I find information while using Firefox, i can either cut or copy and paste that information to an email, a word doc, or some other application. I get a pop-up that says that Mozilla/Firefox doesn't allow me to cut/copy and paste. please help.

The AllowClipboard Helper extension will help you set up the necessary permissions.

The-ed-miester. Please excuse my ignorance, but I just don't understand what I'm supposed to do with this link. When I click on it I get more confused. I am a very uninformed user so please for me. Would you give me a little more step by step??
Use the keyboard if the buttons on the web page aren't working.
- Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert
- Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert
- Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete
You need to add permissions to allow a website to access the clipboard if you want to use buttons on a toolbar on a web page.
You can install the AllowClipboard Helper extension to make it easier to manage those permissions.
