I downloaded 11.0 and it's hanging on install at "checking your add-ons".

I downloaded 11.0 to update my software and it won't respond at all. I can't uninstall, can't do anything else. I have add-ons that I suspect aren't supported, but how do I get to them to disable if I can't get the program to install? Safemode startup isn't doing anything, but then it hangs before the "checking your add-ons" screen. Can't get to the menu bar to do anything else.

What you can do is to go into your profile (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Profiles#w_finding-your-profile-without-opening-firefox can help you find it) and delete or rename these files:

   extensions.ini
   extensions.cache
   extensions.rdf 

Once you do that, try opening Firefox again.
