FF 13 became unresponsive after startup today - hangs, Have to force win 7 Pro x64 to close the window. FF 13 would not start in safe mode, nor allow me to create a new profile (hung). Once it started and to to my session manager extension screen coming up, buit thern it hung again. Completely deinstalled FF 13 (inclduing user data), and installed FF 14. It starts, but when I try to anything in the screen, it hangs.

At this point I would like to go back and try again with FF 13. Where can I download it from?

Any other suggestions? I have been using Mozilla for over 12 years, and find this just terrible.

Hi,

If you have security software (antivirus, firewall etc.) installed, you can try deleting all existing instances of Firefox and its related files in all the different configuration areas/modules of the security software like process monitoring, sub/spawned process control, virtualization etc. in addition to the main AV/Firewall module. Instead create new fully allowed/trusted rules for Firefox + its related processes. Even otherwise some security software may also ask again when Firefox is started and you can try to allow/trust at that time. Please see this.
