The URL foo/bar/name.mp3 seems to be saved as _foo_bar_name.mp3 in version 17.0, how can I restore the correct behaviour to save as name.mp3?

i click on an foo/bar/name.mp3, the file will be saved as _foo_bar_name.mp3 instead of name.mp3. This is not useful for me and I would like to have the old behaviour back. Correcting the filename everytime is _not_ a feasible option.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.
