i am building a website and viewing in Firefox no bold text showing OK in Explorer

I am building a new PHP web site and when I view it in Firefox none of the bold text shows as bold, it works in Explorer. I have the latest version of Firefox and i am running windows 7. I have read several similar problems on the net but they are two or more years old. Please can you help.

Try posting at the Web Development / Standards Evangelism forum at MozillaZine. The helpers over there are more knowledgeable about web page development issues with Firefox.
