Right after your last update a lot of people in the compagny had troubles with starting up firefox. We had to reinstall but during this they lost there bookmarks and we can't find them to restore these. Like you can at Internet explorer under favorites.... (Tis is a directory with files)

Please see the support article below. I hope it will help you restore the bookmarks from the automatic backups that Firefox makes.

Unless your company is using roaming Profiles on a network server, and each user's data isn't stored on a local PC ....

I hope that you didn't uninstall Firefox and removed their personal data.


It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
