Help! have script malware in hotmail: "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped..." a.gfx.ms/fullex_h7pOT etc.
Hi, I've got some kind of script running in my hotmail account(s) that makes the above message appear, with a continue or stop button: "You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete" (followed by "Script: https://a.gfx.ms..." and so on. Please help! Is making hotmail acct inaccessible. "Running" script runs on forever no matter which button choice. The https link included in script I placed in Firefox as a Google look-up, it lead me to a very questionable-looking site with strings of code. Please help me remove this malware. Thanking you in advance!

I can't see your system details, but I assume you have Firefox. If you have any anti-virus programs, make sure they are up to date and running. For Firefox, go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page and get a good add-pop-up blocker. As to the computer;

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
