I can play You tube videos, but with adblock enabled, i can navigate to CTV news video, but when I click on the video to play I just get a black screen. It will play if I disable adblock - how can I use adblock which i very much want to use, and still play the news? In my other computer with XP the news will start playing in firefox, but when it gets to the ad break, it stops and will not play further.

hi ehrefuge,

the only way that i know is to specific disable adblock for this webside.

Hi!

To answer your question, it's fairly simple. You can click the red ABP icon on the top right of the browser or the bottom left corner then click disable on <website here>. Refresh your web page and it should go through without blocking your video!

Does this solve your problem? If not, let me know and I will assist you further.

Thanks, that is exactly what I did but it defeats the purpose of adblock - which is to block the adds :-) I can get it to work with adblock disabled but I was hoping there was some fix so I could use adblock.

Oh! Okay. I know what you are saying now. Yes, you can do that but you would have to manually block every ad you don't want to show by clicking ABP button>Open blockable items then click the one you want to block, (it shows a red box around the item) then double click the one you want to block and click Add Filter.

Yes, it is complicated but it's the only thing I can think of now without completely disabling Adblock.

Thanks, I'll check that out.
