Firefox supposedly sent some security fixes to dnload but said I had to wait for one for my Kaspersky. I did the dnload and restarted the computer. I use Roboform for my homepage with all my primary site passwords on it. After restart the Roboform homepage was blank. All my password info had disappeared. Was this a hack or was this actually a security fix from Firefox? I have received messages like this from Ffox before with no issues. I got my info back with a system recovery but I want to know if someone got access to my computer through this event.

Hi,

You can download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/new/. There are many "fakes" out there. You can uninstall the current version you have and start fresh with a download from the link above.

You probably fell for a fake update, as real Firefox updates don't need you to restart your whole computer, only Firefox.

As far as Roboform, you may need to go to their website to get the latest version, as Siber Systems hasn't mastered learning how to make Roboform update itself after a Firefox update.
