Windows Live Mail deleted account so I Installed Thunderbird for 92 yr. old mother. Now trying to export newly created Thunderbird Personal Address Book and save address book in case it "disappears" again. Opened Address Book, went to Tools>Export>Save and nothing happens. Tried changing drop down menu to comma separated, and clicked "save" and nothing happens...

If you just want to back up the address book, you can copy that .mab file from the profile to another location. You can locate the profile from Help > Troubleshooting Information.
