I'm upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1 and wondering if Thunderbird (31.3.0) email, files, etc. will transfer automatically to 8.1 without loss of data. I used Windows Upgrade program to find out if TBird was compatible, but neither TB or Firebox is listed. Need some direction. Many thanks. Mike

How are you upgrading from 8 to 8.1? In my case, I had TB installed on 8, then upgraded to 8.1 through the Store (it should indicate an update to 8.1 is available, if you have all the 8 updates installed), and TB continued to work in 8.1 as before.
