i m just trying to download the latest version of selenium is 2.8.0 in firefox version 3.5.7 but it is showing me compatibility issues with that..... kindly let me know if their is any solution because i need to start my automation work ASAP.

Why in particular for such a very old Firefox 3.5.7 version?

Current software releases will only support the latest Firefox versions and not a release from years ago.

Kind of hard to know what is compatible with the old Fx 3.5.7 from January 5th, 2010. The last of the old Fx 3.5.x security/stability updates was 3.5.19 and 3.5 itself came out June 30th, 2009. 5 1/2 years is a long time.
