Why phone number don't appear in thunderbird when imported from gmail as vcard format ?

I'm using thunderbird 38.1 on a PC with windows 7, 64 bits. I tried to import contact from gmail using a vcard format. Unfortunately, it doesn't work. I lost every phon number on thunderbird despite at least 50 percent of my contacts on gmail have a phone number linked to their name. I also tried to import contacts via a csv format ant it doesn't work at all.
Could you help please ?

Try this add-on. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/gcontactsync/
