Display Driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8(R) stopped responding and successfully recovered
Purchased a new Dell - Inspiron 17 5000 Series Model 5759. Windows 10 x64 bit system. When using Mozilla FIrefox, latest version, 44.0.2, I get the following message "Display Driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows 8(R) stopped responding and successfully recovered". Firefox becomes blank for a few seconds and then resumes. This happens every 2-3 days, not every day. All drivers updated as well as updating all Windows updates.
To isolate the problem, I started using Chrome. The message does not appear when using Google Chrome browser.
I would like to determine the cause so I can use Firefox as that is my browser of choice. Any ideas here? This is a fully updated system, so what's the problem?

hello, could you go to the firefox menu ≡ > help ? > troubleshooting information, copy the contents of that page and paste them here into a reply on the forum? this might give us a clue what is going on...
I pasted the "Troubleshooting Info" here. Hope it helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
Thanks.

thank you - does an update of your intel driver help? https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25484/Intel-Grafik-Treiber-f-r-Windows-7-8-1-10-15-40-
I will double check the Intel driver version but updating the Intel driver to to the latest version was the first thing updated with Dell support when this message first appeared. The problem persisted. Unfortunately the only thing that has solved the issue is using a different browser ;-(.
I have this problem too, but it occurs repeatedly, sometimes within 10 or 15 seconds of each other, for as long as I use Firefox.
