Using Local Storage Folders
I currently use WLM with 3 email addresses ... POP3, Gmail and Outlook. I drag emails that I wish to retain into Storage Folders. Any email from any of my addresses can be dragged into a subject folder, rather than having to retain separate storage folders for each of my email addresses. How do I set this up using Thunderbird.
Also I intend to use my Gmail Contacts listing for the Address Book. This listing is comprehensive, comprising of the contacts email address/s, phone number/s, home address and various notes. Can I import a Google .csv file or are there some structuring problems.
Thanks in advance

Thunderbird has a special account called Local Folders. Right click Local Folders and select New Folder. Anything under Local Folders is on your local drive.
Thunderbird can import CSV folder. You may need to line up the data in the file with the correct field but a dialog box opens on import to do that.

I have ceated a set of Storage Folders in Thunderbird, matching folder headings that I use in WLM. Because I have large numbers of emails in WLM/Storage Folders, I saved a copy on my pc (they are .eml) and then dragged across to my Thunderbird Storage Folders.
They all seem to have been copied across OK and can be opened within Thunderbird. Is this a OK method of copying ... I say this because I am reading that emails in Thunderbird are kept in a different format e.g. not in .eml?
Each month within WLM I used to Export all emails (including Storage Folders) to a file on my pc which I then Exported to an ext HD. How can this be done with Thunderbird?
