updated from win 7 to win 10. No longer have gmail available in firefox. Can you help me?
Gmail is no longer an option with update from 7 to 10. Gmail works as always in crome. Tried to reinstall firefox to no avail.

Do you mean that you want to set Gmail as the mailto client?
- Options/Preferences -> Applications

Try to rename/remove the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:

You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar and search for prefs that refer to mailto. You can reset user set (bold) mailto pref(s) on the about:config page via the right-click context menu to the default value.
