Copied profile folder from old win10 computer to new. Installed TB and tried to run it. It would not start apparently due to "Your Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." Tried reinstalling with same result. Without being able to start thunderbird, how do I find where to place the profile contents and in what profile folder name ?

+ R In the run box type %appdata%\Thunderbird\profiles.ini Press enter.

Take notice of the paths to the default profile. Note that they are usually relative to the location of the file.. so profile are in a sub folder of the one profile.ini is in.
