How to install a spelling checker
I would like to switch between German, Spanish and English. I have loaded down first the German one, did get a message, that it was installed properly , I started Windows 10 new, but I cannot link it to Thunderbird. If I click on "Option" > "Spelling Check" I do get an empty Window and wrongly written words are not recognized in my document. Thanks for your help in advance. MBA

have you tried using the options in
On the toolbar 
> Options> Composition >spelling?
Thanks, I did it. The receiving window did not show the language add-on previously installed successfully. All I can do there is to install it again or select immediate spelling or no. This does not help me. Thanks for additional help if possible. MBA
