click on to Facebook and it blips back to the past page. USA Today puzzles load and then there is no puzzle to do. just blank. all this happened after I fulfilled your request to update. pretty angry that you messed up my computer.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Firefox 52 and later releases only support the Shockwave Flash plugin and disable all other plugins. You can use the Firefox 52 ESR release if you need to use other plugins like Java.
