Hi  !

You may want to do a bit more than to just remove Search Encrypt, as this is a browser hijacker that may have infected you with more malware.

Go to the 3-bar menu (or   'Tools') => Addons => Extensions and (besides Search Encrypt) look for any unfamiliar or suspicious looking extensions.

When you find any : remove them.

Do the same in Windows Control Panel.

However :   most malware will be 'hiding' somewhere , so let's run malware scans :

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners.
They all work differently   -   what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.
