How do I make the PC open my „Continue to PC” links from my Android Firefox with Mozilla Firefox instead of Microsoft Edge?

When I browse the web on my Nokia 5 (Android Nougat) and tap on „Continue to PC” in Firefox BETA (57) my PC opens the page with Microsoft Edge, although Mozilla Firefox 57 is my default browser.

What must I do to make my Windows 10 PC open the links from my Android with Firefox instead of Edge?

Make Firefox the Default Browser on Windows 10.

As I stated in the question, Mozilla Firefox IS already my Default Browser.

IMHO it is different icon, named "Send to device", like on this movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CM40b14i41M

You have to be Synced to use it.

That's another option. It does what it says as long as you have Firefox open on your PC.

I'm talking about „Continue on PC”, which opens the tab from your smartphone on your PC, even if the browser is not already open on your PC. If you have Windows 10, Firefox installed and synced on both PC and smartphone and you tap „Continue on PC”, Windows will open Microsoft Edge with that tab on your smartphone.

So, my question is: why does Windows open Microsoft Edge instead of Firefox (as long as Firefox is set as the Default Browser)? Can I do something about this?

I hope it's clear now.
