Firefox suddenly stopped going to my chosen webpages
My firefox starts up and looks normal but it won't go to the websites. There is just the big white page beneath the bookmarks bar.

Screen shot of the error?
I can't get a screen shot right now because it is working. It works intermittently. If I click on the Firefox symbol on the taskbar, it does not work correctly. If I go to start and then apps and click on Firefox, it works. I've spent about four hours googling the problem. I was just about to uninstall and reinstall Firefox when it began working. There is nothing to see in the screen shot anyway. There is no error message. Just a blank screen under the top bars (address bar, tabs, bookmarks bar).
