Why is an email missing in Thunderbird that shows up in another email app?

I just discovered an important email that came in yesterday on my Android phone using AquaMail Pro, but that is not showing up anywhere in Thunderbird. I've checked my filter (yes, just one), looked in other folders, did a search for the sender's name, checked my IMAP settings, restarted Thunderbird multiple times, and still nothing.

Now I'm worried about other messages I might be missing, and no matter what I try, I can't get it to download in Thunderbird. Sending myself an email from Yahoo to the account that has the missing email came through right away, but this one important email is completely missing, except on my phone. Very puzzling and disconcerting. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give.
