how can unsent email be selected (where to find it) and deleted because of a large attachment?

Even in Activity Manager, there is no option to select and delete an email that is in the process of sending - but cannot send because of the large attachments. See attached screen capture.

I'd start by looking in the Outbox folder, under Local Folders.
