I apologise if I'm missing some thing but here goes. I recently created a theme to submit to thunderbird. I went to this site: https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-US/developers/ and pressed the submit theme button. This took me to the same domain as the submit addon button did. after going through the steps, it asked me to upload an extension file (.zip, .xpi, .crx, etc). Since I wanted to upload a theme and not an addon, I think this may be a bug. When uploading a theme for Firefox at the theme wizard site (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/developers/addon/submit/wizard-listed) it works fine.

I am currently running Thunderbird 68.2.2 for linux mint. Thanks in advance!

I suggest you ask in the add-on developer forum. User support is all that is done here and there are few technical types that appear very rarely.

I see your post as I receive mail on that forum. I am not competent to answer questions there, any more than here. I monitor it for upcoming "support" issues as problems with A.T.N. often overflow to users.
