Using Firefox 71 on Ubuntu 19.10. I would like to have the URL bar autocomplete URLs based on titles as well as partial URLs. For example, if I type "mai" Firefox will insert "mail.google.com" in the URL bar and I can just hit enter to visit Gmail. But if I type "gmai", it won't, and I would like it to. (It's listed in the drop down, but now I have to remember a different sequence of keystrokes to complete depending on whether I type the page title or URL.)

I've searched for this extensively, but it seems like the behaviour has oscillated over the past thirteen or so years, which means there are too many irrelevant results to know what the status quo is now.

You can type a '#' and a space to search for matches in page titles (# gmail).

This doesn't seem to be quite what I mean. I already get results from page titles in the drop-down box. But I have to navigate to them to select them (with tab or down). I can't just press enter.
