This is my output:

nvidia@tegra-ubuntu:~$ firefox localhost:5000

[ERROR audio_thread_priority::rt_linux] setrlimit64: 1

I then close Firefox and receive this:

Some preliminary questions:

Had you tried disabling hardware acceleration in Preferences → scroll down to Performance → un-tick the box "Use recommended perf settings" to display the "Use hardware acceleration" setting, and un-tick the box for it.

Are you then running L4T?

Firefox on an actual chip itself or in a host machine? Ubuntu version?

You are posting the question from a Mac? Because your user agent string is a Mac build.

Someone might need that info, but after this, i am out. :D Over my head. But it does look like the kind of crash one could get when compiling a Firefox to run under Wayland instead of X11.

Hi,

1. I just tried disabling the hardware acceleration it didn't change anything.

2. I'm running NVIDIA Jetson TX2 L4T 28.2.1

3. Firefox is running on a chip not on a host machine.

4. I am posting via Mac as I have 2 computers.

Please go to the about:support page in Firefox, and ensure that any crash reports have been submitted. The developers use this data to fix bugs.

You may also copy a crash report ID and paste it here. As long as it has been submitted, someone can look at it via the ID.

Which version number of Firefox is this?

I don't see anything in the R 28.2.1 release notes related to browsers or your issue.

You might try uninstalling Firefox, then reinstall it from your repository / software manager. You can also download the generic Linux Firefox from Mozilla https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/ and try that. (You can unpack it from the archive to your desktop or wherever for testing while the Ubuntu repository version is still installed if you like. Double-click the firefox file inside the folder and allow it to execute. You can even let it create a separate profile if it asks on first launch -it may claim to be an older version even if it is newer- or create a new profile with the profile manager if you care to.)

I had hoped someone better versed in problems like this would have found your thread already. Best wishes.
