Hi,

After a factory reset i did for my tablet i cant synchronize my bookmarks anymore. I definitely synched them b4. The reset was done a few times over the last months too and it always worked. It seems like they are just gone.

B4 i reset my tablet i deleted the account via the option in android.

There was already a similar problem in this forum. Answer was: sync is not a backup option and bookmarks might be lost. So maybe i was just lucky the other times it worked anyway.

Im using this account only with mobile devices.

My questions:

1) Is it true that synced bookmarks might be gone?

2) Is there a way to check if the bookmarks are still saved somewhere in my Firefox account?

3) Is there a way to save bookmarks on Android only?

Hi

Yes, you are right in sayinf the Firefox sync is not a backup service and it is true that you may lose syncced data.

I haveno way to access you account to access any data in it, it is encrypted for your privacy and security, but please appreciate that if you sync and the data is not there, it is not going to be available anywhere else.

Sync is designed to move bookmarks and other data between two or more copies of Firefox.
