Master password in my Thunderbird 68.8.1 (64-bit) does not work correctly. When opening Thunderbird, the Master password window appears. Master password is designed to protect the passwords you store in thunderbird, and nothing more. To project access to your messages you are encouraged to use proper methods to secure your computer login and your entire computer in general.
