Hi there,

I have just purchased my first MacBook. Previously used thunderbird on PC. Thunderbird installed on Mac no bother (version 78.2.2) and all email addresses working.

Whilst on PC I exported my thunderbird calendar to a .ics file which I have since transferred to Documents on MacBook. Was about to import this .ics file into thunderbird on Mac but Events and Tasks > import is greyed out. Do I need to install something else to enable this option? Or should I be doing something else altogether?

I looked through the other questions on this forum and couldn't find anything specific to this problem. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Many thanks N

Have you accessed Calendar tab and selected/enabled a calendar eg: Home ?

Thanks Toad-Hall - I didn't realise I had to have a calendar enabled to then import the ics file into!
