Playback control does not disappear when entering full screen
When viewing a video powered by a Brightcove player, the playback control bar on the bottom does not hide when entering full screen mode. I have tried moving the mouse in all areas of the screen, play/paused it with the spacebar/mouseclick, and tried several other methods but it simply does not want to disappear. An example of a website that uses the Brightcove player is the IPL website. You can click here to access one of the videos on the site.
I have tested this with other browsers and the playback control disappears as it should when entering full screen so it seems to be some issue with Firefox. I recently contact Brightcove support and they were not able to replicate the issue on their version of Firefox and just recommended I use a different browser. But it would be really helpful if someone could help me fix this strange bug.
Thank you.

No problems here with hiding the controls in full screen mode. The controls hide after a few seconds if I do not move the mouse and the mouse is not in the controls area.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or userChrome.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
None of these options seemed to fix it. And I don't think I see a userChrome.css file under my Firefox folder. I definitely don't want to reset my Firefox to solve this issue though. And it's unclear whether resetting it will also resolve it.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

You can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.
See "Creating a profile":
If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
