Every time I go into look at candidates in Indeed the sidebar on the left that lets me quickly scroll through candidates dissapears. It does not do this on chrome

While you are in Troubleshoot(Safe) mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
