TBird is making Comcast send select valid emails to spam permanently.
Thunderbird is making my Comcast email crash.
I send emails to myself as notes. If I run TBird and mark any email as spam then immediately Comcast sends my *notes* to the spam folder in their web interface. As an example use the fictional address Bozo@comcast.net. I send a note from Bozo@comcast.net to Bozo@comcast.net it immediately ends up in the spam folder. Marking it Not Spam does not fix it no matter how many times it's clicked. This has been happening since beta 89. Comcast after much phone time, aggravation & people fixed it. They stated emphatically that TBird was the problem. Delete TBird was their response. I went for a month without any problems after Comcast did their fix. Well, Beta 90 came out and without thinking I marked some emails (specifically not Bozo@comcast.net) spam. Now my Bozo@comcast.net is back in the spam folder. I believe TBird is setting something in Comcast email. I have spent 5 phone calls and at least as much time with Comcast... Please help!
Also does beta 90 send out updates every day? I seem to have to update every other day or daily?

I respect your desire to assist the beta. Bugs should be reported to bugzilla dot mozilla dot org. However, what you're saying is that TB is creating spam messages, so I defer to you on how you will document this. This has not been posted and I also use the beta with no problems. Twice in your original post you commented that Comcast fixed the issue. Good luck. Since this is a bug you plan to report, please mark this thread closed. Thanks.

First, I don't suggest not using the beta for day-to-day use (just my personal opinion, since I run both and routinely see differences in the two) And, no, ithe beta does not send updates daily. You state that Comcast sends the mail to spam. That means TB isn't doing it. However, a message with email of FROM and TO matching is a possible spam situation. You mentioned being okay for a month after a Comcast fix. That implies it was Comcast, not TB. I do encourage marking good mail as 'not spam' to help train the spam checker. TB does not mark messages as spam when it sends it.
I see your point in not using the beta but if we don't discover the problems then they will be in the release version. I am not being confrontational but sincerely believe TBird is causing the problem because it worked perfectly prior to invoking the spam filters I have the spam filters turned off and I have deleted all message filters. Is there another resource I should be directing my concerns to? I want my issues to go the correct people and don't expect volunteers to know developmental issues.
You do have a good point about email being sent to and from the same address could trigger spam but it worked flawlessly until the last two beta releases.
In regards to issues of daily updates I misspoke. It is in Firefox. My frustation level is high so I apologize to you. Thank you for your reply it was very gracious.

Mail that goes to a Spam folder is controlled by Comcast, before mail is downloaded to TB. It is not caused by TB, even if you have TB's Junk Controls in place. Open the account in Comcast webmail and whitelist any senders who are mistakenly routed to Spam, and add them to the webmail address book or contacts.
