sending emails
it use to work. now it does not. have tried everything i can find published to no avail. also tried various setting combinations and am tired after a lot of time spent without success. the error message is below:
Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Outgoing server (SMTP) error. The server responded: Connection refused - ELNK003_101 - https://postmaster-earthlink.vadesecure.com/outbound_error_codes/#_101.

This needs to be pursued with your email provider. Or file an exception request as the site indicate. Thunderbird is not a participant in this.
exception request could not be filed since i am an individual and not a business!
i will try earthlink support and hope to .... they have an answer.
maybe thunderbird has served it purpose is something else needs to be used but i hope not. mozilla has been my goto since netscape first arrived on the scene - you can count the decades.

If the receiving site believes the sending IP is spam, no email client can override that. Earthlink should be in a position to contact them. Good luck.
