Login Issues
Hello! I was wondering if you guys could help me get set up on Thunderbird. I'm having some trouble getting logged in with the "Set Up Your Existing Email Address" section. I'm certain I'm typing in the right login info but it says it is "Unable to login at server.

Thunderbird is a free program and this Thunderbird Support Forum is also free and it is manned by unpaid volunteers who are Thunderbird users and they are based all over the world. There is no monies for offices full of people waiting for calls.
You need to supply information otherwise we are guessing.
- What OS are you using eg: Windows 10. MAC, Linux?
- What version of Thunderbird are you using ?
The lastest is 102.2.0
- What comes after the @ in your email address ?
- What server settings are you trying to use ?
- Is it gmail, yahoo, gmx, bt, comcast etc etc ? What server are you trying to connect ?
Have you checked that the password is good by loggong on to your webmail account via abrowser ? If yes, if you get access then you know the password is good. If you cannot get access then neither will Thunderbird. So confirm you have access to webmail.
As you have just downloaded and installed Thunderbird, please check you computer Firewall because Thunderbird needs to be set up as an allowed program. Otherwise the Firewall may block access to the internet. Confirm Thunderbird is set up as an allowed program in the Firewall.
In Thunderbird. 'Menu icon' > 'New' > 'Existing Mail Account' When you try to create a mail account for an existing mail account (email address), you fill in your name and email address and enter password. You select checkbox for Thunderbird to remember the password and click on 'Continue' What happens next ? Create a screenshot and save it as a jpg image. Post that jpg image into this forum question.
