With this latest version of Thunderbird my incoming emails are showing code data and text, yet the previous versions never displayed code data in the messages. Just today an incoming email from a regular addressee could not show text because Thunderbird said the client does not use HTML. How do I solve the problem, I am not interested in or understand code data

I have the same issue - incoming emails with html, rather than plain text simply show the hundreds of lines of html code - the usual suggestions of view/message body as (3 options) do nothing at all. It started with just a few sources of mails, but now things like adobe and other big company's are totally unreadable. No idea how I can fix this - apart from going back to other applications for mail. This is on thunderbird on both Macs and pcs - 4 machines all now displaying the same issues? Paul
