Asking for a friend. His account @gmail.com stopped working few days ago. (timeout on imap.gmail.com) This gmail-account keeps on working fine on outlook on same machine.

During creating new account, first steps are ok, but when it tries to connect to imap.gmail.com it fails after long time (assume to be timeout) I installed my gmail-account as a test: same issues. Timeout on connection with imap.gmail.com

Any clue? I am at end of options
