This week, FF 3.6.8 stopped being able to access an HTTPS site that I edit. The status bar rapidly alternates between "Connected to..." and "Connecting to..." before the browser give up and displays a "Connection was reset" error page. Our network uses a proxy server, and another machine on the network has FF 3.5.6 with the same add-ons (Adblock Plus, Firebug, Web Developer), but I can get to the site fine from the older browser. My site's HTACCESS file has a RewriteRule to force pages to load securely, and this version of FF 3.6.8 can only see my site if I disable the HTTPS. My guess is that the problem resides in how this specific copy of FF interacts with the network's proxy server. At home I have two machines with FF 3.6.8 and both of them can get to my site. Any help would be great.
