Not able to delete local file after open it in Firefox

I use the 3.6.10 french version under Windows 7 64bits. I have on my desktop, a folder containing htm files. I open it inside Firefox and close it.

If i wants delete the folder, it is not possible, because it is still opened by an application.

First try rebooting, then see if you can delete the file. If it is still locked there are a number of free utilities that can be used to help delete those files, see http://www.thefreecountry.com/utilities/deletelockedfiles.shtml

As you have a 64 bit version of Windows you will need a compatible utility, of those free utilities I know that Unlocker has a 64 bit version.
