none of the questions/answers cover how to clear the websites that get automatically saved on the MENU bar History. That list is automatically generated and shows the 10 most recent sites hat you have visited (place:sort=4&maxResults=10). You need to clear the History if you want to purge that list. See Delete browsing, search and download history on Firefox
