The Search that normaly appears when you press F3 will not appear? help?

Normaly when I press F3 a search bar appears at the bottom of the screen so that I can search for perticular words on the current web page.

This has stopped appearing and instead when I press F3 I get a highlighted word of the last search I preformed.

HelpI NEED the ability to search for perticular words in a long page!

Does the Find bar open if you press the Ctrl+F keys or via Edit > Find ?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
