I've never been asked that... By any chance do you have a clipboard add-on such as:

AllowClipboard Helper :: Add-ons for Firefox

You may be able to change your settings in the add-on by visiting

Tools > Add-ons > Extensions

and looking for an Options button for the add-on. Or it might have added an item to the Tools menu.
