I just found Windows Presentation Foundation on my computer. In Computer World there is a link to update it through Microsoft, but I'm afraid to try it.

Just disable it in Tools -> Addons -> Plugins, then it will not load in memory when you use Firefox.

To remove plugins entirely, you usually have to uninstall or edit settings of the programs the plugins come with.
