I have windows XP Pro SP2 and after updating to FF5, I kept having a message about plugin-Container crash in a lot of sites (not all the sites !) until deactivating mozilla activex control and plugin support plugin. then the problem didn't show up again so, is't ok to keep working with that plugin or there is a way to fix the problem and keep working with the mozilla activex control and plugin support plugin ?

Mozilla has never supported ActiveX. Whoever created that ActiveX Plugin is responsible for the problems it may cause.

IMHO, not using ActiveX is the main reason that Firefox is so much more secure that Internet Explorer.
