With a physial keyboard attached Firefox uses English keyboard layout only, although the system settings are German. For all other Android apps the keyboard works just fine using German layout. So Firefox does something special here. Using the soft keyboard works fine in German. I tried to set the language to German in the Firefox settings but without effect.

It is a known bug on the Asus Transformer. Firefox works fine with it as a tablet. Though we still have some issues to sort out with the hardware keyboard. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=669361
