Lost all of data on toolbar after downloading version 8.0 update The use of ALT is only a brief seconds solution. Why the data from the download firefox tab shows only a 3.8 version-which I deleted. I don't dare try to download another 8.0 version as a solution. I have an HP-XP media center 2005 PC. I need help

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
- Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.
